May my prayer bring thee wisdom
opening blind inner eyes,
let it blossom whilst the wind storm
rages through thy broken mind!
May my belief give liberty,
unfolding wings free thy heart,
let a tranquil, deep mystery
come to life, let start to fly!
May my white dove plant sincere love
within thy soul's extinct land,
let a shower, holy, fertile,
vivify the lonely crag!
May my sunrise shine on thy path,
glistening thoughts' magic seeds
germinate signs, let help thou find
splendid dreams of thy spirit!
May my sigh reach thy shut iris,
smuggled hope in hiding place,
love whits sleep behind closed eyelids,
whilst I pray in endless grace;
- Time has brought faith, and thou shall wake! -
