"Blessed am I
Each dawn, in deep thought
I see you doodling a name in sand,
etching out an outline of a face
I wonder if they are mine?
then erasing…a sigh
escapes thirsty lips
as you look up heaven wards,
one drop of rain
falling on your delicate tongue
quenching
your scorched soul...
I am blessed,
for…
that fortunate raindrop
am I…"

Blessed you are
Each dawn I stand on my sea strand
writing your name to the white sand,
lost in deep thought my musing faith
evokes your shape, draws a side-face,
a thirsty dream whispers in soft
ripples of my solitary soul,
a sigh flies to heavenly sky,
why did you drift so very far ...
... a teardrop falls on my empty
hand, blessed, you weep within me,
my sole drink, the one and unique
rainfall of my arid spirit.
