...grounded on wild terra firma
with a deep, painful desire,
where consistency of dharma
relegates the missing fire
into an under-skin stigma,
where transcendent memories
of an omnipotent ratio legis,
and the aching lack of lost wings
cruelly tortures the earthbound
body's immortal captive...
